Batik with a contemporary twist

Love colourful prints with a story behind them? Then Guave is a brand for you. This Amsterdam-based brand, founded by Romée and Myrthe, combines their love for traditional Javanese batik with a modern look. The unique fabrics are produced more fairly by small, independent workshops in Indonesia. A deliberate choice to support the craft of batik and keep it alive.

Think fresh sourdough bread, pastries and savoury baked goods, bread made with ​‘old’ bread, brewers’ grains or vegetable scraps. Every recipe is a playful exploration of flavour, sustainability and reuse.
