The COSH! benefits

Thanks to several Flemish and European grants and the contribution of the fashion city of Antwerp, we have been able to build our innovative technology.

Thanks to the support of many cities, Bruges, Mechelen, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and lately also Hasselt, COSH! has had quicker launches. Jointly, with the contributions of many local stores, we were able to screen about 1000 brands.

Based on our gathered data, this development allows us to screen and curate entire cities and their retail scene. Furthermore, it makes it doable to facilitate a launch in a new town within three to six months.

Even though all shops struggle with the aftermaths of COVID and the current energy crises, we measure and see 12% less shop closures inside the COSH! community than in cities where COSH! is not active.

COSH! is live in 5 languages. By informing citizens in their native languages we reach more people and are as such more inclusive.

The COSH! impact for cities

Cities must work towards achieving the SDGs and collect data on their CO2 reductions. However, in terms of retail and measuring the North/South impact, no city can set up a platform on its own.

COSH! guides conscious shoppers to more local and sustainable shopping choices. This doesn’t just make local SME retail more robust, boosting pedestrian numbers; it also has a global impact.
