Discover what transpired at the COSH! Pop-up launch event
One joint vision, 23 passionate entrepreneurs, inspiring conversations, and captivating conscious fashion! Exactly three weeks have passed since COSH!! set up its pop-up at the Conscious Fashion Store in Berlin. So let us look back at the launch event at Potsdamer Platz.
Foremost, we are thrilled to announce the grand opening of COSH!’s very first international pop-up. The pop-up opened its doors to the public on the 16th of May at the Conscious Fashion Store in Berlin. The COSH! team, together with the entrepreneurs, the Berlin scene and guests, enjoyed an evening of networking in which we got to know more about each of the designers. The successful launch event set the tone for what promises to be an exciting collaboration and future endeavours.
This pop-up showcases 23 innovative entrepreneurs from Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. Over the course of a two-month pop-up period, each of these entrepreneurs has the opportunity to present their collections to a new audience in Berlin and share their stories. You will find an array of products such as furniture, clothing, and accessories, all designed are showcased by people who are committed to a more sustainable society. The pop-up not only allows these designers to reach a broader audience but also encourages them to push their boundaries. In the initial days leading up to the opening, you could bear witness to the growth of a community in which these entrepreneurs can collaborate, support each other, and flourish together.
Haven’t had the chance to visit the pop-up yet? The good news is that it will be extended until November! That means plenty of time for you to visit Berlin and discover some of these incredible designers! Every two months, COSH! will switch up the store’s set-up, introducing a new selection of intriguing entrepreneurs.
The COSH! team invites you to visit our pop-up and join us in celebrating the impressive work of these designers. Whether you’re a Berlin local or a visitor, don’t miss the chance to be part of something truly special.
During the opening event, Conscious Fashion Store visitors could experience an interesting panel talk, led by Niki de Schryver, founder of COSH!. After introducing COSH!’s powerful story, further insights were given during the panel discussion.
COSH!’s in the business of changing behaviours Niki de Schryver
This thought-provoking panel discussion featured Max Gilgenmann (Studio MM04 & VORN), Niki De Schryver (COSH!), Thimo Schwenzfeier (Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf*), and Christian Lozano (TWOTHIRDS). The four panellists enlightened us with a talk about the importance of growth and degrowth in the industry, as well as how balancing both ends of the spectrum ensures a future for the industry.
Throughout the discussion, the talkers collectively stressed the critical need for brand transparency. They argued that brands must take responsibility for their actions and ensure ethical practices. From sourcing more eco-friendly materials, working with pre-ordering and reducing carbon footprints, the panel provided an overview of techniques that need to be implemented to drive change in an industry that is still too focused on fast fashion.
