So what hangs on those rails? Labels such as Armedangels, Lanius, DAWN Denim, Vaude and Ecoalf share the floor with P&C’s own brands, including Jake*s, McNeal and Review. According to P&C, a growing share of the range is certified by independent third parties. GOTS covers organic fibres, with environmental and social criteria along the processing chain. MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® checks for harmful substances and fair working conditions in the supply chain. GRS (Global Recycled Standard) verifies recycled content. Not every item is certified, so it’s worth checking the label. P&C’s own brands carry an extra hangtag that explains the materials and the standards they meet. For one-off finds, a vintage pop-up adds a selection of second-hand pieces for women. Smaller brands get a stage too. In 2024 and 2025, pop-ups with COSH! brought 60 brands from Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Romania, Georgia, India and Germany into the store.

Fancy shopping somewhere you can also get your jeans taken up? The in-house workshop alters, repairs and redesigns garments together with customers, from shortening trousers to adding embroidery to a favourite jumper. P&C’s reasoning is simple: clothes that fit well get worn more often. Every Thursday, the open sewing café on the first floor invites you to bring a project and swap skills. Workshops, styling sessions and panel talks on quality, materials and care fill the rest of the calendar. The interior is pared back: no extra wall panelling or floor coverings, minimalist fittings and dimmed LED lighting with spotlights. You’ll find the store at Alte Potsdamer Straße 7, 10785 Berlin, open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 20:00. Regulars may still know it by its old name, the Conscious Fashion Store. P&C renamed it in August 2026 but kept the concept and the range (TextilWirtschaft). Pop in, try something on and stay for a stitch.
