Wear For Life: Promise to cherish your clothes for longer

Amsterdam Fashion Week is getting a more sustainable twist this September, and it’s something you don’t want to miss! COSH! is pleased to announce the start of Wear For Life, a joint campaign that aims to make more sustainable fashion known & accessible to everyone. This campaign goes beyond style; it’s about giving your wardrobe and the planet a fresh start.

Fashion meets sustainability

On September 3, the iconic Kalverstraat will transform into a catwalk like no other. Sixty models, including some of the most beloved Dutch personalities such as Carolien Spoor and Isa Hoes, will shine in beautiful creations by Ronald van der Kemp. But these aren’t just any outfits; they are made from donated pieces from top brands such as Levi’s and Calvin Klein, proving once again that fashion can be both stylish and sustainable.

The fashion spectacle marks the official kick-off of the Wear For Life campaign. This is a collaboration between Metropolitan Region Amsterdam, OBA, COSH! and Municipality of Amsterdam. Together with initiatives of numerous local entrepreneurs and retailers, we want to inspire fashion lovers to be more conscious with their clothes.

Make the pledge and wear your clothes for life!

The Wear For Life campaign calls on all fashion lovers in Amsterdam and beyond to make a pledge. By signing this pledge, you promise to embrace a more conscious approach to fashion—buy less, choose well and wear your clothes longer. Our goal? Reduce the mountain of clothing waste and encourage a culture of reuse and repair.

From the start of Amsterdam Fashion Week up to and including Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week, you’ll see posters and digital displays throughout the city encouraging you to participate. Simply scan the QR code and discover everything about Wear For Life! Make the pledge and discover endless tips on how to care for, restyle and repair your clothes to enjoy them for longer.
