Anke owns My Melonade, a women’s fashion and make-up webshop from Limburg, Belgium, with a fitting room by appointment on the Merestraat in Val-Meer (Riemst). The point here is not to buy as much as possible, but to find clothes and make-up that suit you and put you in a good mood.
The story began in March 2020 as a webshop called mAke. What started small grew step by step with a loyal group of customers. Later came a shop in Hasselt, and in 2023 the business got a new name: My Melonade, after a sip of fresh lemonade on a warm summer day. At the end of 2024 the Hasselt shop closed, so Anke could do things more her own way again. Today you shop online, or book an appointment to come and try things on in Val-Meer. My Melonade is a Limburg webshop where you find the colours and style that suit you, online or by appointment.
The range is colourful and invites you to mix prints and combine colours. You will find jumpsuits, dresses, blouses, tops, knitwear, jackets, trousers and skirts, along with jewellery, handbags, wallets, backpacks, belts, socks, shoes, scarves, hats and stationery. On the beauty side there is foundation, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, pencils and brushes, plus skincare for face and body. Anke’s belief is on her own website: when women like themselves, they are better able to care for the world. That is why an appointment is more than a fitting. She helps you with colours, outfits and make-up that make you shine, in an atmosphere that feels more like visiting a friend than going shopping. Honesty, authenticity, creativity, curiosity and optimism are the values she builds her business on.
