Eerlijk Waar! was opened in 2009 by Jean-Pierre and Simone. They thought the world would become a better place if people started wearing clothes not made at the expense of citizens in the Global South. They were also passionate about craftsmanship and the protection of the environment. That’s how they came up with the idea of opening a fair trade boutique suitable for people and the planet.
