From 28 to 30 November 2025, the Museum der Arbeit will once again host the ecological Christmas market – a marketplace for sustainable ideas, regional crafts and pre-Christmas atmosphere.
In addition to a diverse selection of arts and crafts, organic food and sustainable gift ideas, vauno will also be represented this year:
A brand that reimagines North German wool. vauno shows how locally sourced, often underrated wool can be turned into high-quality, durable fashion – manufactured regionally, conserving resources and with a deep connection to nature and craftsmanship. Each piece tells a story of quality, durability and genuine North German tradition. A special highlight for anyone who appreciates timeless, sustainable clothing.
In addition, visitors can expect a varied programme:
- Waschlappentheater by Lucy Lou (Sat 15:00 · Sun 12:00 & 15:00)
- Face painting (Sat & Sun from 12:00)
- Caricatures by Jens Natter (Sat & Sun from 10:00)
- Die Werkkiste – creative crafts and childcare for children (Fri from 2 p.m. · Sat & Sun from 10 a.m.)
The market is family-friendly, barrier-free and located directly at Barmbek station – ideal for environmentally friendly travel.
