High-End Designer Fashion Pop-up in Leuven

After the successful pop-up series in Berlin, Cosh! is thrilled to bring the same exciting concept to Leuven. As COSH!’ first-ever pop-up in Belgium, in a prime location in the heart of its shopping district, this marks the exciting beginning of a new way of shopping at COSH! members. The pop-up will take place on Bondgenotenlaan, Leuven’s main shopping street, in a brand-new space dedicated to showcasing innovative brands and designers. From March 1^st to April 28^th, visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore an exclusive selection of high-end, more sustainable, and handcrafted products — some of which are making their debut in Belgium.

The pop-up brings together a diverse range of designers, each with a unique story and commitment to quality and more sustainable craftsmanship. Whether you’re passionate about timeless accessories, handcrafted jewelry, genderless fashion, or skincare, this event offers a rare chance to experience these brands in person. Here’s a closer look at the designers and brands you’ll discover at the Leuven pop-up:

Who is Part of the Leuven Pop-up?

Sofie Darche: Handmade Leather bags

If you are a fan of minimalistic handbags, you will simply love the bags from Sofie Darche. Her design is known for its timelessness and minimalism. The simple, clean look allows you to combine the bags with seemingly every outfit. All leather handbags and accessories are crafted by hand in Belgium and Europe. The materials are either European chrome or naturally tanned residual.

Natascha von Hirschhausen: Innovative Designs

Natascha von Hirschhausen pushes the boundaries of sustainability by rethinking the production process itself. Her workshop has become a waste-free sanctuary, where local craftsmen bring her carefully designed creations to life using high-quality materials such as peace silk and recycled cashmere. Her gender-neutral, flowing designs include everything from elegant bridal attire to empowering businesswear.

Moksi: Cosmetics for sensitive skin

Founded by Lies De Nyn, Moksi was born out of personal experience. After undergoing intensive cancer treatments, Lies struggled to find skincare products safe for sensitive skin. Moksi​’s mission is to offer gentle, effective skincare that brings a touch of color and joy during challenging times. The brand empowers individuals by giving them control over their skincare, a crucial aspect of self-care and healing. Loved and endorsed by cancer patients and people with sensitive skin.

hesa.design: Handcrafted Bags

“Custom-made. Handcrafted. for you.” This slogan encapsulates the essence of hesa.design to its core: Everything is handmade in Germany by the designer and every piece is unique. The brand specializes in handcrafted leather and most products made from vegetable-tanned European leather. There is a vegan line as well. The brand is deeply committed to sustainability, incorporating zero-waste production methods and offering custom services to ensure that every creation is a true slow luxury investment.

BYBROWN: Stylish Raincoats 

BYBROWN solves the dilemma of choosing between staying dry and looking stylish with its innovative raincoats. These designs seamlessly combine functionality and fashion, ensuring that you can embrace rainy days without compromising on style.

Fien Demuynck Juwelen: Handcrafted Jewelry

Another jewelry designer from Ghent who is also part of the Pop-up is Fien Demuynck Juwelen. She handcrafts every piece and is known for her timeless and simple design. Her designs strike a balance between simplicity and playfulness, making them perfect for everyday wear. By using recycled materials and lab-grown diamonds, Fien aims to craft jewelry that is as responsible as possible while staying elegant.

REMESALT: Queer, Genderless Designs

All the way from Berlin, REMESALT also made its way to Leuven to be part of the pop-up. REMESALT is best known for colourful, genderless clothing and for celebrating the uniqueness of the individual. Every garment is handmade in the designer’s atelier and each piece is a statement of personal style, encouraging self-expression through fashion. He produces limited quantities, creating on demand rather than holding stock. During our preparations for the Pop-up he shared that he would like to be updated on the sales, so he can create new garments when needed. That way everything that he creates remains intentional, exclusive, and truly unique.

Line Vanden Bogaerde: Expert Goldsmith & Jewelry Designer

Line Vanden Bogaerde’s jewelry is carefully handcrafted in her Ghent-based studio, where she blends deep expertise with artistic precision. She works exclusively with recycled silver, strives to use fairly mined gold, and certified diamonds, ensuring that her creations align with ethical and more sustainable values. Her jewelry is a testament to the belief that beauty and responsibility can go hand in hand.

Clara Kaesdorf: Artistic, Expressive, and Unconventional Designs

Another designer from Berlin, blends creativity, a more sustainable approach, and local craftsmanship in every piece. Clara Kaesdorfs designs, crafted one at a time in her studio, feel like wearable art – all of the prints on her clothes are designed and created by her. The preferred material is Tencel/​Lyocell, a cellulose fiber. It is obtained from wood and almost all solvents used for the production are reused. It is often seen as one of the most sustainable fibers at the moment.

Janne Landuyt: Timeless Knitwear

The Belgian designer works primarily with merino, mohair, cashmere, and cotton. Locally made in her studio, Janne Landuyt creates knitwear for men, and women and also has several gender-neutral designs. With her work, the designer strives for a fashion scene where self-expression, comfort, and sustainability are not exclusive but go hand in hand. She furthermore creates custom-made garments as well, tailoring each piece to the individual wearer’s needs.

Elise Verdegem: Handmade Handbags

Elise Verdegem is known for handcrafted leather bags and accessories. Every piece is meticulously designed and created by hand, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail. Every single step of the creation process, from choosing the finest materials to exact stitching and finishing, is done by hand with great care. She also offers fully custom-made accessories for those looking for something truly unique.

Free Prisoner: Rebellious and Elegant

Free Prisoner shows us how fashion can challenge societal norms while also embodying zero-waste principles. The designs are best described with rebellious elegance. The Utrecht-based designer handcrafts all of her pieces locally and focuses on compostable clothing made primarily from hemp and organic cotton, with no polyester or microplastics.
