On Saturday 27 June 2026, the Flingern neighbourhood in Düsseldorf transforms into a lively stage for one of the city’s most beloved community events: Flingern Open. Over 40 shops, cafés, ateliers, studios, and local businesses open their doors for a long Saturday of shopping, drinks, and spontaneous specials, all from 11:00 to 22:00.
Three COSH! members are among the participants making Flingern Open worth the detour:
Atelier Goldfisch is the jewellery studio of goldsmith Tabea Kamper and artist Fabi, where handcrafted rings, necklaces, and earrings are made entirely in-house from 95% recycled gold and silver. Many pieces are created from customers’ own heirloom jewellery, redesigned and given a new life. Drop in to see the workshop, discover current pieces, and talk directly with the makers.
koko selected is a curated second-hand and concept store run by Cathrin & Livia, who share a love for pre-loved fashion and conscious living. The bright Flingern-Nord shop brings together carefully selected second-hand clothing and a small range of locally made accessories, all chosen with an eye for quality and character. For the event, they will have a wheel of fortune with prizes and discounts.
ERDEN is a jewellery studio run by goldsmith Frieda, who created a beautiful space for her passion. Her design and handcraft stand out, and you should not miss visiting her on Saturday. The studio and shop will be open until 10 PM that day. As a special in-store offer, she’ll be providing a free jewellery cleaning service and, of course, a chilled glass of sparkling wine (non-alcoholic options available, too).
