What began as a childhood hobby has developed into a colourful project and a small business: Studio Orf. Founder Nicola has been crocheting passionately since 2015 – and has officially been a small business since November 2024.
She mainly works with second-hand wool and yarn, which she buys at flea markets and charity shops or receives from private individuals. She also transforms unused clothing into stylish bags or baskets.
Nicola can regularly be found at local markets and events in Düsseldorf with her crochet art, scrunchies and other colourful accessories. Her own webshop is already under construction.
Anyone who wants to try their hand at crochet can take part in one of the crochet workshops that the designer offers in Düsseldorf. There, beginners and advanced crocheters have the chance to learn or refine the art of crocheting, or to discuss and realise their own projects.
