From September 1 to October 19, OBA will host drop-in sessions for independent sewing machine use at various maker spaces in its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Over these seven weeks, people can access sewing machines at the four locations during two specific time slots each week, which include weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) and/or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location is equipped with three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials like thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work on their projects independently, with a supervisor available during each session to offer support if needed.
