The fashion spectacle in the Kalverstraat under the inspiring creative direction of RONALD VAN DER KEMP, during AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK serves as the kick-off for LINDA.foundation’s new initiative, namely FASHION.foundation.
On the opening day of Amsterdam Fashion Week, on Tuesday 3 September, at 16:00, Amsterdam’s Kalverstraat will be taken over by 60 models, including Carolien Spoor, Susan Visser, Anouk Smulders, Anita Witzier, Irene van der Laar, Immanuele Grives, Isa Hoes and more friends from LINDA. who will be wearing the most amazing creations by Ronald van der Kemp. These true works of artconsist of clothes donated by various clothing brands, viz. Levi’s, Mart Visser, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Most Wanted, DYANNE , The Little Green Bag, Kate Spade and Omoda to FASHION.foundation. In this way we draw attention to reuse and sustainability of clothing as well as to the LINDA.foundation’s new initiative: FASHION.foundation. An online clothing platform where financially vulnerable families living in the Netherlands can shop for free clothing, shoes and accessories for free. With this initiative LINDA.foundation hopes to contribute to a more positive self-image for people with financial worries. FASHION.foundation is made possible by the National Postcode Lottery.
