We are giving 5 designers from the COSH! Community the chance to capture some outfits from their latest collection and share their vision and ideas with us during a video interview. The videographer on duty? Samuel Vansteenkiste, a top cinematographer! Curious to know who the lucky designers were and which sustainable garments they brought? We are happy to introduce them to you!
Looking for stylish and minimalist garments made from 100% natural materials? Then you must be at Ida & Volta! Also admire her luxurious and timeless pieces in Kortrijk. Models Eliza Peters, Sara Scarlet, Feli Meurisse and Louise Versavel were captured on video in the luxurious and timeless pieces and Johanna Adriaens, co-founder of Ida & Volta, told us more about the brand. Transparency, circularity and environmental friendliness are priorities at the brand, so definitely recommended!
Looking for a brand with a lot of love for people and the environment? Bamboo Belgium is such a brand! With sustainable bamboo they create beautiful and timeless collections. Want to know more about the sustainability of Bamboo Belgium? Click here. The models for the catwalk were Evelien Schotte, Pauline Koch, Carine Vanroy and also Fina Van Beul herself. The energy of the ladies was contagious.
The Belgian slow fashion brand RE°invented was also there! The unique, colorful designs of designer Anne Nagels brightened up the studio. Anne’s sustainable approach makes these garments even more unique and limited edition. Anne searches deadstock fabrics at The Fabric Sales, thrift stores and production ateliers for materials and starts designing from these materials.
HAA! provided the youngest and cutest models of the day! The two sisters Hilke and Anke have a circular vision and join forces. Anke founded the store Bobbi Ray, where she sells hip and upcycling clothing for kids. You can also find the children’s clothing brand HAA, founded by Anke and her sister Hilke. With HAA, they make cute children’s clothes from sustainable and upcycled materials. In addition, Bobbi Ray is the place to go if you are looking for a repair and upcycling service!
And last but definitely not least we were lucky enough to meet Natacha Cadonici in Kortrijk together with her muse. The designer makes garments from high quality fabrics from Parisian fashion houses. Each garment can be worn in two ways: twice the wearing pleasure.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make this day a success! In particular, the four sponsors of this event, which was organised entirely by the Vives students: Thanks to Clothilde’s natural beauty products, the talented make-up artist Sharon Vernaillen was able to get the models ready for the studio! Thanks also to Creative finance, the accounting firm par excellence that offers accountancy as a service for creative entrepreneurs according to circular principles. As a startup brand, creative or and retailers be sure you won’t get surprise invoices from your accountant? Check out Creative Finance. Of course also many thanks to Hangar K in Kortrijk for the beautiful location! In this IT and co-creation hub, it all started for COSH! For this unique occasion, we returned once again to this stimulating workplace where we also organized FaKtory Infini!
