With her label of the same name, Janne Landuyt centres all her minimalist, colourful designs around the importance of selfexpression. This value characterizes all of Janne’s creative work, regardless of what gender you identify with.
Janne Landuyt used to be one of those kids selling their creations – in her case jewellery – to their friends on the local playground. This creative mindset planted the seed for her career in fashion. Janne graduated as a textile designer from Sint-Lucas in 2019. During her education she became inspired by Hilde Frunt’s knitwear atelier in Antwerp. Shortly after the coronavirus broke out at the beginning of 2020 she decided to throw herself into the world of fashion as a self-employed knitwear designer.
What makes Janne Landuyt’s designs truly stand out is that even though she only sells knitted pieces some of her collections are perfectly fit to wear in summer as well! The wool that is used is certified by the Responsible Wool and the Responsible Mohair Standards. Apart from knitwear, she also offers outlet fashion, limited edition pieces, care products, and even workshops!
