The store’s history and its brand, Himalaya, is special! Founded by globetrotter and travel enthusiast Alexander Frieborg, the family business developed from flea market stalls with Indian fabrics and jewellery into an India-Hippie store, a fashion brand and a wholesale business. When Alexander’s sons Benjamin, Lennart, and Felix Frieborg took over the store, they updated the store concept, adding conscious brands and establishing a fresh and trendy look. With the new, modernised product palette, the store attracts people of all ages, genders and backgrounds with different styles.
