Three days of craft, design and the real thing near Fulda

From Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August 2026, the baroque grounds of Schloss Fasanerie in Eichenzell near Fulda become a meeting point for people who love the real thing. Part of Das Fürstliche Gartenfest, the Market for Real Things brings together artists, manufactories and designers presenting handmade one-off pieces, characterful accessories, furniture and considered fashion.

Hamburg fashion label VAN TRICHT is returning to the market this year. Founder Hanne Ludwig-van Tricht and her team will show their collection among a carefully selected line-up of makers from Germany and abroad.

Beyond the stalls, the weekend has a summer-festival feel: live music plays across two stages, and a full programme of hands-on workshops — from silversmithing to weaving — is included in the ticket. Culinary specialities round out a relaxed day out for families, design lovers and anyone drawn to well-made things.
