Isabel from Sjette will provide the wool, needles, and instructions, and the B&Bs, holiday homes, hotels, cafés… will offer a cosy space to work in. ☕🧶
This initiative is expected to start at the end of May 2025 and run until mid-October 2025.
Each scarf will be made unique by letting every guest/customer contribute by knitting or crocheting (further) on an existing or new piece. Let your creativity run free by choosing your own wool and stitches. After the tourist season, the scarves will be collected in the autumn and later auctioned. The proceeds will go to De Warmste Week.
De Warmste Week is Flanders’ largest solidarity campaign. Through this initiative, VRT aims to bring all Flemish people together during the week before Christmas.
