Isabel Decombel made her dreams come true in October 2023 and started Sjette, the dream of every wool lover. The idea arose from her creative passion for wool and knitting, which she combines with her love for local, more sustainable materials and techniques.
With Sjette, Isabel offers the opportunity to donate your leftover knitting and crochet wool, accessories, books and patterns. The wool scraps are processed into new balls, pompoms and mini ball boxes.
Sjette also offers new, local wool there. Isabel collects sheep and alpaca wool from neighboring farms and uses it herself. All steps in the process such as washing, combing, dyeing and spinning she does herself, by hand!
You can also join Sjette for a fun evening activity! (Re)discover the pleasure of crocheting and knitting in one of the creative workshops, or refine your techniques thanks to Isabel’s expertise. Ideal to spend a fun evening together with friends, family or colleagues!
