WORKSHOP: KNITTING WITH PUNCH CARDS AND LACE SLIDE

Do you already have some experience knitting on a knitting machine and want to expand your basic knowledge? Then this workshop is for you! In this workshop, you will focus on pattern knitting. They introduce knitting with punch cards and the lace slide. These two techniques are both used on the single bed.

Description

You will make swatches with different options that you will take home afterwards. For this, they offer yarns in different colours and raw materials, which you may choose from.

What exactly will you learn:

• You’ll go over all the accessories and buttons and what their function is for knitting these specific techniques.
• Tuck stitches.
• Patterns with 2 colours.
• Lace patterns.

Yarns are included in the price. There are 3 places available each time.

IMPORTANT! You must already have some prior knowledge of single bed knitting on a brother knitting machine.

The workshop will last 3h30 and will take place at the workshop (City Wall 14, Beringen, Block F, Room 12).
