On 17 April, a special edition of FABRIC Nights will take place at the Future Fashion Lab. The evening features Hamburg-based fashion journalist Antonia Valentina Herbort.
In a reading from her book “Fashion Undressed”, she reflects on common assumptions about fashion. Who decides what is considered “in”? Why is personal style in Germany often described as reserved? And how can individuals develop their own sense of style in a world shaped by constant trends? Antonia offers insights into the structures of the fashion industry and explores the connections between clothing, society, pop culture and psychology.
The reading will be followed by a panel discussion, including experts from AVA. Studios and Selva Huygens, represented by Natalia Golubenko.
The evening will be accompanied by DJ Martin Hufnagel. Drinks and conversation provide space for exchange within the setting of FABRIC.
