This creative workshop shows participants how to repair, refresh and redesign their clothes instead of throwing them away. Led by experienced designer Sigrid Münzberg, also known as Sekundär Schick, the workshop focuses on practical skills and creative approaches to extending the life of garments.
You will learn various techniques for repairing clothing. This includes mending holes, tears and worn areas so that garments can be worn again. The workshop also introduces methods for embellishing and customising clothing with various materials and decoration techniques. This allows each piece to be transformed into something personal and unique.
In addition, the workshop emphasises the importance of sustainable fashion and shows how repairs and upcycling can contribute to a more environmentally conscious approach to clothing.
Registration is not required. Participants are asked to bring their own garments, sewing accessories if necessary, and a willingness to experiment. The workshop is aimed at both beginners and experienced sewers.
