The Slow Exchange – A festive gathering where design, art and responsible fashion meet
From 17 – 19 April 2026, SofieDarche.(Leather Goods), Valérie Berckmans (Women’s Wear), and Abelone Wilhelmsen
(Men’s & Women’s wear), all members of COSH!, cosmetics and lifestyle alternatives come together for a three-day collaborative event celebrating design, slow fashion and artistic exchange.
→ The Spring Edition opens on Friday, 17 April, with a festive late-night shopping evening from 16:00 – 21:00.

About the designers:
Rooted in Antwerp, Brussels, and Copenhagen, the designers bring distinct yet harmonious worlds united by timeless design, conscious production, and craftsmanship. At The Slow Exchange: Spring Edition, their work comes together in a shared space celebrating creativity, sustainability and dialogue across cities.
SofieDarche. – With roots in fine leather craftsmanship and a love of clean design, Sofie shapes pieces that last a
lifetime: elegant, practical, and unmistakably her own. Every curve, every stitch reflects her belief in care and authenticity.
Valérie Berckmans – Brussels-based womenswear designer focusing on refined silhouettes and sustainable practices.
Her designs combine minimalist, timeless elegance with thoughtful material choices and are all locally produced.
Abelone Wilhelmsen – Copenhagen-born mens & womenswear brand blending slow fashion values with contemporary
design and an urban feel. The brand emphasises local production, quality fabrics and versatile garments that celebrate
both comfort and style.
In addition to fashion and leather goods, you will also find images by Sarah Van Wingerden during the event. The
documentary photographer will present some of her prints and the photo book of her latest project,
“Bij ons langs de rivier” (By our river). Her work was recently published in National Geographic and will move to her next exhibition in the Kunstkerk Dordrecht after the Spring Edition of the Slow Exchange.
