From 1 September to 19 October, OBA is organising drop-in sessions for independent use of sewing machines in various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer and Molenwijk. Over the course of these seven weeks, people can use sewing machines at the aforementioned locations at two specific times per week: weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location has three sewing machines, an overlock machine and essential materials such as sewing thread, fabric scraps and a small collection of patterns. Participants are allowed to work on their projects independently! A facilitator will be present during each session to offer help if needed.
