OBA is hosting drop-in sessions from September 1 through October 19, allowing for independent use of sewing machines at various maker spaces within its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Over this seven-week period, sewing machines will be available at these four locations during two specific time slots per week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location has three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials like thread, fabric scraps, and a small selection of patterns. Attendees can work on their own projects independently! A supervisor will be available during each session to provide support if needed.
