From September 1 to October 19, OBA will provide drop-in sessions for independent use of sewing machines at several of its maker spaces: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. During these seven weeks, individuals can access sewing machines at the mentioned locations during two specific time slots each week. These slots include weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) and Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each site has three sewing machines, an overlock machine, and basic materials like thread, fabric scraps, and a small collection of patterns. Participants can work independently on their own projects! A supervisor will be available during each session to offer assistance if needed.
