OBA will be organizing drop-in sessions from September 1 to October 19 for the independent use of sewing machines in various maker spaces at its branches: CC Amstel, Javaplein, Slotermeer, and Molenwijk. Over the course of these seven weeks, sewing machines will be available at the above-mentioned locations during two specific time slots per week — weekday mornings (09:30 – 12:30) or Saturday afternoons (13:00 – 16:00). Each location will have three sewing machines, one overlock machine, and basic materials such as sewing thread, fabric remnants, and a small collection of patterns. People are welcome to work independently on their own projects! A supervisor will be available during each session to offer support if needed.
