According to Refyld’s website, all products are made in France. The brand collaborates with several French laboratories for this purpose. Even the glass bottles in which the products are packed are made by French glassblowers from the region of Le Gard. The paper refill packaging comes from an Italian manufacturer.

Due to the stricter labour regulations in these countries, COSH! Assume that the products are made in ethical conditions. Unfortunately, no information is available on the origin of the ingredients. Because a very large part of the production chain is not known, we cannot know in what working conditions these ingredients are sourced.

Refyld’s products contain various natural ingredients such as aloe vera, coconut oil, almond oil, mint, ylang ylang and bergamot. The deodorant even includes some ingredients from controlled organic farming, including corn starch and aloe vera powder.

On their site, the brand claims that the products contain no allergens or essential oils. Instead, the brand is committed to using natural fragrances to ensure the products have a caring effect and are suitable for sensitive skin types.

According to the brand, Refyld’s packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable. Among other things, the brand uses paper as packaging material, as well as a ​‘paper’ made from apple waste.

The products are offered in glass bottles with a hand pump. The bottles are crafted by French glassblowers. The darker colour of the glass also helps ensure that the skincare product lasts longer. 

The refill packs are made of paper fibres, designed to easily pour out into the glass bottle. Completely plastic-free!

Refyld is very candid about their laboratories in b, where the products are made. The glass packaging is also produced in France. The paper packaging, in turn, is made in Italy.

Unfortunately, the brand lacks transparency regarding the origin of its ingredients. This means a significant part of the production chain remains undisclosed, preventing any assessment of the overall journey or distance of the products.

Refyld’s website states that their products are vegan and not tested on animals.
