Chills & Fever is part of Green Queens, a Belgian organisation that oversees several clothing brands, ensuring ethical production and fair working conditions. The brand works with the same factories in Turkey and Portugal as its sister brands, ensuring compliance with strict environmental and social criteria. Workers in these facilities receive fair wages and operate in safe working conditions according to Green Queens. 

Additionally, excess stock is either sold through stock sales or donated to charities such as Payoke, Artsen Zonder Vakantie, and Berrefonds.

Chills & Fever prioritises materials that are certified and have a reduced environmental impact. Organic cotton is cultivated without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, while Tencel® and bamboo offer breathable, soft alternatives with a lower water footprint.

WATER USAGE & CHEMICALS

The brand says it mostly uses GOTS certified materials, ensuring strict controls on water use, chemical treatments, and dyes. Harmful substances are avoided to protect both the environ

CIRCULAR PRODUCT DESIGN 

Chills & Fever focuses on creating long-lasting, circular fashion by using mono-materials wherever possible, making recycling easier at the end of a garment’s life. The brand opts for digital printing to reduce fabric waste and works with high-quality fabrics that ensure extended wear. With timeless designs, Chills & Fever encourages customers to care for, repair, and pass on their clothing, extending its lifespan. While the brand does not offer a take-back service, its approach promotes conscious fashion choices that minimise waste.

SLOW FASHION PROCESSES

Chills & Fever actively prevents overproduction through precise stock monitoring, reducing waste and avoiding unnecessary production.

Chills & Fever releases two seasonal collections per year, focusing on quality over quantity. By using pre-orders, the brand further reduces overproduction and avoids surplus stock. If so, excess stock is either sold through stock sales or donated to charities such as Payoke, Artsen Zonder Vakantie, and Berrefonds.
