All the clothes are of their own design and made in their own workshop in Valencia, with all their love. Each person involved in this process has decent working conditions in a healthy and motivating work environment.

In addition, they trace the process of creating their fabrics, in order to guarantee that each and every stage is respectful with the environment and people.

They only use raw materials from GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified suppliers, which meet strict environmental and social criteria, because as well as guaranteeing good quality fabrics and the use of non-toxic and harmless chemicals, it assures them that the people who have worked to make this possible, have done it under fair conditions.

Finally, as they believe that their responsibility goes beyond the local level, they collaborate with the NGO Educo in its Ella Scholarship programme, which covers school fees for girls aged 12 to 17 who want to continue studying but do not have the financial means to do so.

ToTó by Costureo garments are made of 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane.

Organic cotton is grown using sustainable methods, which allow the land to regenerate naturally. They avoid the use of pesticides, toxic fertilisers and genetically modified seeds. In addition, once the organic cotton is harvested, the fibres are processed using natural methods, without toxic products or pollutants, and reducing the use of water. 

They also use a small percentage of elastane, a synthetic textile fibre, which provides greater elasticity in the garments, for greater comfort. 

ToTó by Costureo adds a small amount of synthetic elastane to its organic cotton garments, which makes subsequent recycling difficult, as garments containing several fibres are more difficult to recycle.

The recyclability of products is very important, as it depends on being able to recover them, recycle them and thus extend the useful life of the products manufactured. 

For this reason, ToTó by Costureo strives to extend the life of its products by offering a repair service for its garments.

All their production is made in Valencia (Spain) without exception, so we can say that their chain of manufacture and finishing of the garments is very short! Although, the fabrics do not come from national suppliers, they come from other European countries. 

The entire production of ToTó By Costureo is vegan! They do not use any animal material. Moreover, they are part of Fur Free Retailer, a platform that guarantees that the brands that are part of it do not use animal leathers.

ToTó By Costureo has a repair service. If one of your Costureo garments has broken, you can send them an email, and they will see what they can do, either repairing it themselves, recommending a repair service near you or finding a solution so that you can continue to enjoy your garment, so that ToTó By Costureo garments can be enjoyed many times over!

Moreover, they believe in a free fashion, without obstacles to encourage independence. As every child is different, they offer a made-to-measure garment service, so that it adapts to the needs of each child. For example, they can add velcro on the sides of the trousers if the child uses a wheelchair or make a T‑shirt that opens completely if putting it over the head is a nuisance, so that your child feels comfortable in their clothes!
