Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week (DSFW) and COSH! are combining their green forces to advance their shared mission to promote sustainable fashion. The parties strengthen each other through the combination of events and online presence. Together, they can raise awareness among Dutch consumers.
DSFW is taking place this year from 6 – 12 October at various Dutch locations with a focus on making sustainable fashion developments visible in the Netherlands and abroad. They want to make sustainable fashion accessible and approachable for everyone in the Netherlands, from young to old, through activities and fashion shows during fashion week.
COSH! stands for Conscious Shopping Made Easy and makes sustainable shopping easy all year round, whatever a person’s style or budget. Visitors to the online platform can use the ‘brand checker’ to search for an item of clothing that suits them using various filters, to read more about the sustainability of the brand that interests them and see where they can buy it in a local shop. In April, the Belgian platform took its first step across the Dutch border with the launch of a digital and printed shopping map of Amsterdam.
To celebrate this collaboration for the 9th edition of Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week, COSH! is making a free guide to sustainable materials available for download. The guide will show what to look out for when comparing clothes in shops or when choosing fabrics for your own sustainable fashion collection or brand.
