Por­to­bel­lo is an estab­lished name in Leu­ven and sur­roun­dings. They can right­ly say: ​“we dress young peo­p­le from 16 years old to the older man”. The­re is some­thing for every bud­get in many clas­sic sty­lish brands. 

By a very per­so­nal sel­ec­tion of dif­fe­rent brands (about 40) they suc­ceed. By their new offe­ring of HNST jeans, they are for the first time taking the road to a more sus­tainable offer.

Marc Van­de­ven, sci­on of a well-known fami­ly of clot­hing stores in Leu­ven, and Nico­le Jans­sens star­ted in 1982 the men’s clot­hing shop in the Bond­ge­no­ten­la­an. In 2003, they exch­an­ged the 2 exis­ting bran­ches for a new loca­ti­on with almost twice as much retail space. The ran­ge of space on offer was broa­den­ed. The store per­for­med bet­ter than ever befo­re. In 2000, Veer­le Valcke joi­n­ed the com­pa­ny as a part­ner.

Tog­e­ther they face the chall­enge of buy­ing the most beau­tiful items every sea­son. Tog­e­ther with the enti­re sales team, they aim for a per­so­nal no-non­sen­se approach and are open to brands with a more sus­tainable approach if they fit in with the style and bud­get of their male customer.
