Por­to­be­llo is an esta­blished name in Leu­ven and surroun­dings. They can rightly say: ​“we dress young peo­ple from 16 years old to the older man”. The­re is something for every bud­get in many clas­sic sty­lish brands. 

By a very per­so­nal selec­tion of dif­fe­rent brands (about 40) they suc­ceed. By their new offe­ring of HNST jeans, they are for the first time taking the road to a more sus­tai­na­ble offer.

Marc Van­de­ven, scion of a well-known family of clothing sto­res in Leu­ven, and Nico­le Jans­sens star­ted in 1982 the men’s clothing shop in the Bond­ge­no­ten­laan. In 2003, they exchan­ged the 2 exis­ting bran­ches for a new loca­tion with almost twi­ce as much retail spa­ce. The ran­ge of spa­ce on offer was broa­de­ned. The sto­re per­for­med bet­ter than ever befo­re. In 2000, Veer­le Valc­ke joi­ned the com­pany as a part­ner.

Together they face the cha­llen­ge of buying the most beau­ti­ful items every sea­son. Together with the enti­re sales team, they aim for a per­so­nal no-non­sen­se approach and are open to brands with a more sus­tai­na­ble approach if they fit in with the sty­le and bud­get of their male customer.
