The Dutch fire brigade uses countless hoses to extinguish fires and if these are rejected, they end up on the waste mountain. This should be done differently, because the material is super strong and very easy to reuse. In the social atelier of Eversom in Rotterdam, this material is given a second life. All bags and accessories are made locally in Rotterdam by people with a unique story, who have a distance to the labor market or by Ilse herself.
