Von Winckelmann, founded by make-up artist and hair stylist Eva Trappeniers, is the place to be if you’re looking for cosmetics that are organic, cruelty-free and eco-friendly.
During her make-up training, Eva quickly questioned the composition and sustainability of classic beauty products. After some research into other alternatives, she switched entirely to natural, animal-friendly, skin-friendly and ecological cosmetics brands.
In order to convince more people to take the same step, Eva started a blog about healthier alternatives in the field of beauty care and she became an ambassador of the Belgian skin care brand CÎME. A few years later, her blog, von Winckelmann, grew into a webshop with natural skincare and make-up products. Until january 17th 2021, you can also visit the von Winckelmann pop-up shop at the Korenmarkt in Mechelen.
All products in the shop are vegan, cruelty-free and 100% natural (with the exception of the Skin by Dings products, which are a very safe alternative to the 100% natural mineral sun cream).
In addition, von Winckelmann deliberately opts as far as possible for brands from Belgium or neighbouring countries. You will find the Belgian brands CÎME, RainPharma, Skin by Dings, Go as u.r and many more… The brands from neighbouring countries and outside the EU are also all of a sustainable nature.
von Winckelmann certainly welcomes the use of recycled and recyclable packaging. Brands such as Botma & van Bennekom, Bambaw, We Love the Planet and Go as u.r. already succeed in this. Other brands are working hard to make this a reality in the future. For example, CÎME has already started using recycled and recyclable packaging for their new products.
Eva is always ready for personal advice and is also happy to help customers with make-up tutorials that can be found on her website. In addition to her shop, Eva also works as a make-up artist and hair stylist, so you can also call her for weddings or other events.
With von Winckelmann, Eva wants to inspire women to emphasize their authentic beauty using natural make-up. No faces with too much foundation but natural beauties and radiant goddesses!
