Do you want to make more sustainable choices for your little one and opt for second-hand children’s clothing? Then visit Quinnie’s in the Rijnstraat in Amsterdam South. Here you can search for the most beautiful preloved children’s clothing and preloved (mostly wooden) toys in peace while you enjoy a cup of coffee and your little one plays in the play corner. Quinnie’s is not only a shop, but also a cozy coffee bar with fair trade coffee from Peru and the most delicious cakes.
When starting the store, owner Danique consciously chose sustainable and recycled materials for the interior. The floor is made of cork, a soft and durable material, and the display cabinets are made of old picture frames.
The collection of second-hand children’s clothes consists of high-quality clothing that has been carefully selected by Danique. As a result, you’ll only find children’s clothing in good condition in store. Here you’ll find classic, vintage and cool styles from brands such as Mini Rodini, Zara and Petit Bateau. Prices here start from 6 to 7 euros. Quinnie’s also offers a beautiful collection of preloved toys, mostly made of wood.
Do you want to bring in your own clothes? This is also possible! All clothing is collected locally and sold on consignment. After the sale you’ll receive 40% of the selling price.
