We are continuously organizing the Very Cherry Fashion Swap.
We all know it… that one beautiful item in your wardrobe that you never wear for whatever reason. Too nice to give away, too much hassle to sell online, no friend or sister with the same size… What do you do with it?
In the spirit of sustainability, we believe it’s important that our clothing lasts a long time, but also that it brings joy. So, we would like to offer your unworn or lightly worn clothing a second chance.
In our SALE basement, you will always find a rack of vintage and second-hand items. But from now on, you also have the opportunity to bring in your own clothing.
Got nothing to bring? Come and have a look at the second-hand gems on our Fashion Swap rack; perhaps there’s something waiting for you!
How does it work?
You bring your clothing item(s), still in very good condition, to the Very Cherry brand store in Rotterdam. We will assess your item and give you a store voucher in exchange for your clothing item. This voucher is valid for 1 year and can only be redeemed in the store, not online.
What items do we accept?
Items from our own Very Cherry label, King Louie, and Nümph. You don’t need to have purchased the item from us. However, we do scrutinize the condition of the item; someone else should genuinely find joy in it. Anything faded, shrunken, or, of course, anything with a stain or damage will not be accepted. We accept a maximum of 4 items per person per submission to keep the second-hand selection diverse in sizes and styles.
What happens to the items you bring in?
We sell these items in our SALE basement. The selling risk is on us, and you receive your voucher immediately upon submission. This way, you don’t have to deal with the hassle of selling second-hand clothing, and we can make someone else very happy with your worn item. If you actively wear a clothing item for 9 months, you can reduce the water, waste, and emission footprint by up to 20 – 30%*. So, by giving your item a new life and having someone else buy a second-hand item instead of something new, you’re also making an environmentally conscious choice! ♻️
