When rainwear meets craft: BYBROWN pops up at Sofie Darche Atelier in Antwerp
From 3 to 26 April, BYBROWN, the Amsterdam-based rainwear label founded by British designer Melanie Brown, will be welcomed into the atelier of Sofie Darche for a pop-up.
Two makers, one space
BYBROWN is built around a clear design philosophy: all-weather pieces that don’t ask you to choose between function and form. Melanie Brown’s background in technical design shows in the tailoring, structured silhouettes, considered proportions, and a raw minimalist aesthetic that sits easily in any wardrobe. These raincoats are designed to last in your closet, season after season.
Sofie Darche, the Antwerp-based leather goods designer who hosts this collaboration, works with the same attention to craft. Her atelier, which is a fixture in Antwerp’s independent fashion scene, is the kind of space where things are made slowly and on purpose.
Together, the two make an unexpectedly fitting pair: precision craft, strong individuality, and a shared belief that what you wear should mean something.
What to expect
During the pop-up, you’ll find a curated BYBROWN collection alongside unexpected offers on selected pieces, a rare opportunity to discover the label up close and try things on.
