After more than 40 sold-out swaps and over 4,000 participants in Amsterdam, The Swap Club is launching its first Rotterdam edition at Droppie Store, a space focused on easy and rewarding recycling. This small-scale event (25 spots) encourages connection, quality exchanges, and conscious fashion. Instead of buying clothes, participants swap items through a point-based digital wallet system, turning unused pieces into new finds without spending money.
How the swap works
Bring up to 10 gently used items such as clothing, bags, accessories, jewelry, or unopened cosmetics. During the first 30 minutes of your chosen time slot, items are checked and valued. Accepted items earn points credited to your personal QR-code wallet. You can then use these points to pick items you like during the event, and any remaining balance stays available for future swaps (held about three times per month).
Accepted items
Clean clothing in good condition, accessories and bags, new-condition shoes, jewelry, and unopened cosmetics.
Not accepted
Damaged, stained, pilled or worn items, used shoes, untagged underwear or swimwear.
This edition includes both men’s and women’s clothing. Photography and video may be taken for promotional purposes; inform staff on arrival if you prefer not to appear.
