Clothing Swap — The Swap Club Rotterdam × Droppie

After more than 40 sold-out swaps and over 4,000 par­ti­ci­pants in Ams­ter­dam, The Swap Club is laun­c­hing its first Rot­ter­dam edi­ti­on at Drop­pie Sto­re, a spa­ce focu­sed on easy and rewar­ding recy­cling. This small-sca­le event (25 spots) enco­ura­ges con­nec­ti­on, quality exc­han­ges, and con­s­ci­ous fashi­on. Ins­te­ad of buying clot­hes, par­ti­ci­pants swap items thro­ugh a point-based digi­tal wal­let sys­tem, tur­ning unu­sed pieces into new fin­ds wit­ho­ut spen­ding money.

How the swap works

Bring up to 10 gen­tly used items such as clot­hing, bags, acce­sso­ri­es, jewel­ry, or uno­pe­ned cosme­tics. During the first 30 minu­tes of your cho­sen time slot, items are chec­ked and valu­ed. Accep­ted items earn points cre­di­ted to your per­so­nal QR-code wal­let. You can then use the­se points to pick items you like during the event, and any rema­ining balan­ce stays ava­ila­ble for futu­re swaps (held abo­ut three times per month).

Accepted items

Cle­an clot­hing in good con­di­ti­on, acce­sso­ri­es and bags, new-con­di­ti­on sho­es, jewel­ry, and uno­pe­ned cosmetics.

Not accepted

Dama­ged, sta­ined, pil­led or worn items, used sho­es, untag­ged underwe­ar or swimwe­ar.
This edi­ti­on inclu­des both men’s and women’s clot­hing. Pho­to­grap­hy and video may be taken for pro­mo­ti­onal pur­po­ses; inform staff on arri­val if you pre­fer not to appe­ar.
