Have you always wanted to learn how to knit but never got around to it? We’ve designed a course where, in three lessons — two of two hours and one of one hour — you can master the basics of knitting at our Craft Café in De Pijp.
Start from scratch and knit your very first stitches. The great thing about this course is that you’ll not only learn the techniques but also complete a project. This way, you’ll practise different stitches and methods while working toward a finished piece. As you learn, you’ll create a mini scarf. This course prepares you to continue confidently at home with your own projects. You can choose whether to include materials or bring your own.
What you’ll learn:
Casting on, knit and purl stitches, stockinette stitch, rib stitch, and finishing techniques.
How to book:
When booking, simply select the date of your first lesson (choose ‘Adult’). After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a booking code to schedule your second lesson. To book your third lesson, follow the same process. This allows you to plan your lessons at your own pace and ensures you have enough time between sessions to work on your scarf.
