What do you do when a repair can’t be made completely invisible? Instead of hiding the mend or the stain, this workshop turns it into a small work of art, drawing on the Japanese sashiko tradition, where textiles become more beautiful the more often they’ve been repaired. Participants can bring along a garment they’d like to repair, or choose a piece with a production flaw from Joseffa’s homewear collection on-site and take it home afterwards.
Expect step-by-step guidance, materials to work with, coffee, tea, water and snacks, and your own uniquely repaired piece to take home. The workshop runs in a small, relaxed group with room for guidance, exchange and creativity.
