Got a favourite hand- or chunky-knit sweater with a hole in it? This workshop teaches how to mend it, either with a visible, contrasting design or a discreet repair that hides any trace of damage. Participants bring along a (not-too-fine) knitted sweater with a hole or a dropped stitch, plus matching yarn if available; practice swatches are provided for anyone without a sweater who still wants to learn the technique.
Expect step-by-step guidance, materials to work with, coffee, tea, water and snacks, and a mended garment to take home. The workshop runs in a small, relaxed group with room for guidance, exchange and creativity.
