Repair Treff at HALL4CRCLRTY: Preserving clothes together!
At HALL4CRCLRTY, everyone is invited to bring along their broken textiles and work together in a cosy atmosphere to preserve them.
Whether it’s a jumper with a hole in the elbow, a pair of jeans with a worn knee or even socks with holes in them – here we can think together about how clothes can be sensibly repaired.
Existing materials for mending and repairing are gladly made available. However, if you need a particular colour of yarn, thread, zip or similar, you are welcome to bring it yourself. It is worth bringing 2 – 3 different items of clothing with you, especially on your first visit, so that you can experiment flexibly with the materials available and your own skills.
Important: The Repair Treff is not a classic repair service! Rather, it is about sharing, learning together and creative inspiration.
Tea and snacks are provided for your physical well-being. If you like, you are welcome to bring a little something that suits your own preferences – because repairing often requires a lot of concentration, and a little refreshment in between is good for you.
