Built on Ruins: A Trend Researcher’s Honest Take on Creative Culture in Flux

FABRIC – Future Fashion Lab in Hamburg hosts the next edition of its Open Classroom talk series, this time with trend researcher Marc Völler. In an honest, no-fluff talk, Völler looks at a creative culture in upheaval: hybrid design disciplines, ​“brand dreaming,” the shifting role of the collective, and the question everyone in fashion is asking right now: can AI actually do style?

The talk is aimed at designers, fashion students, and anyone curious about where creative culture is headed, no prior expertise required. It’s part of FABRIC’s ongoing Open Classroom format, which brings outside expertise into the Future Fashion Lab for the city’s fashion community.
