As part of Fashion Revolution Week, FABRIC – Future Fashion Lab is contributing with its own initiative. Fashion Revolution Week takes place annually in remembrance of the Rana Plaza factory collapse on 24 April 2013 and calls for greater transparency and fairness within the fashion system.
During the week, FABRIC will set up an open clothing rail in the café. Through the Clothes Swap Walk, the team creates a space where garments are exchanged instead of purchased new.
The concept is simple: well-kept pieces change hands free of charge. Clothing continues its journey, and participants are encouraged to rethink how they relate to what they already own.
How it works:
Bring clean, well-preserved garments you no longer wear.
Hang them on the swap rail.
Browse through the available pieces.
Take home what you like – free of charge.
The Clothes Swap Walk is open to everyone. Visitors are welcome to browse even if they do not bring items to swap.
