In December, the Flingern monastery smithy regularly opens the doors of its small monastery shop and studio. In a special atmosphere, handmade jewellery is created here, where craftsmanship meets meaning: jewellery as a memento, a sign of love, joy in life and in becoming.
Visitors can discover a jewellery collection made from recycled precious metals – including unisex rings (sizes 48 – 78), necklaces, wedding rings, coat of arms rings and family jewellery. Personal consultations are also offered, as well as alterations to heirlooms, old gold acceptance and vouchers. The focus is on sustainable, mindful and fair working practices.
Opening hours in December:
Monday & Wednesday: 3 – 6 p.m.
Advent weekend: 2 – 4 p.m.
