Out with the Sunglasses, In with the Knitwear
Autumn is on its way, and if your wardrobe isn’t quite ready, the Swap It! clothing swap at E‑WERK Freiburg is a great place to start. On Sunday 11 October, the foyer will fill with pre-loved clothing, accessories, and bags, all chosen with the colder months in mind. Summer pieces can stay at home this time; the sunglasses will have their moment again next year.
Everyone can bring up to 15 autumn and winter items that are washed and in good condition, and hand them in at the drop-off point. The team sorts everything before it goes out onto the swap floor, so you can browse at your own pace and take home what suits you. Please note that underwear, socks and damaged clothing can’t be accepted.
Beyond the rails, a repair and upcycling station is on hand for anyone wanting to give a tired favourite a fresh start. Drinks and waffles keep energy levels up, there’s good music throughout the day, and plenty of information on sustainable consumption and fashion for those who’d like to dig a little deeper.
