Bidules is turning seven this year, and they’re celebrating with a brand new book!
‘3000 Days of archives related to the optics and glasses frame industry’
Under the art direction of Mathys Dos Santos, the team put together a visual anthology of the forgotten corners of the eyewear industry – started in 2018, the collection is an never-ending project that blends scanography and photography to explore fragments of an industry shaped by time, chance, and memory.
Frozen in time for now, it’s come together into an extensive 380 pages black and white publication. This is the first edition of 300 copies and we can’t wait to share it and celebrate it with you!
We’ll be enjoying an evening of music and performance by OddJob, alongside talks curated by Bog Bodies Press on the topic of collecting – honouring both the endless collecting that happens at Bidules and the many forms of collecting happening around us.
