As part of Antwerp Jewellery Week, Abelone Wilhelmsen’s flagship store hosts a special exhibition by Frederic Bryon of Upcycling Phenomenon: 11 unique rings, each crafted from the parts of a single vintage Lyrist saxophone. The result is a series of one-of-a-kind wearable pieces, each carrying its own trace of the instrument it came from.
The collection can be viewed throughout the exhibition at the Abelone Wilhelmsen store, with a special opening evening, Nocturne. Visitors can enjoy drinks and live saxophone music while getting a first look at the collection, meeting the maker, and hearing the story behind each piece.
The exhibition itself runs for the full duration of Antwerp Jewellery Week, so anyone who can’t make the opening evening can still visit from 1 to 3 October, 11:00 – 18:00, or on 4 October, 13:00 – 17:00.
